One of the California's grand roadside attractions, the Cabazon dinosaurs stands as sentinels to the Coachella Valley. You can go inside both of the dinosaurs, the T-Rex (Mr. Rex) is a small museum about... T-Rex and the other one (Dinny) is a store. I had a lot of fun in this pretty cool place in the middle of nowhere.

For those of you who would be interested in the movies we're talking about since a few days, there are two very good books written by Pete Tombs, the first one, IMMORAL TALES is about European sex and horror movies between 1956 and 1984, the other one MONDO MACABRO is about the weirdest movies you can possibly think of. You can easily find both of them.

Recently, while I was doing some research on SATANIK, I found out that amazing character was known in some countries under the name of KILINK. I also discovered the trailer of a Turkish movie adaptation: KILINK ISTANBUL'DA. It looks like it's pretty fun to watch, there's some sort of fake batman (wearing Superman's logo for some reason) trowing a giant lolypop on his enemies. It seems that KILINK was such a hit there that they made ten other movies between 1967 and 1975. Nine of them were shot in 1967! KILLING/SATANIK was a great Italian character who appeared in a lot of photo novels. Our friend Jimmy Pantera is working on reprinting some of them.

Special post for Bill, the artist of LUCHADORES FIVE. He'll know why... I've never seen this movie but I'm dying to. It's called THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH. On IMDB, it's #69 of the bottom 1oo. It can only be a masterpiece.
