Another great movie about cars: VANISHING POINT directed by Richard C. Sarafian in 1971. It's one of the main reference behind DEATH PROOF, Tarantino's GRINDHOUSE segment. There are tons of excerpts of VANISHING POINT on youtube, here's the trailer.

When you're upset, there's nothing better than a good fistfight with a dinosaur. This is FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD, directed by IshirĂ´ Honda in 1965. The music composer was the great Akira Ifukube wo did all the GODZILLA, ZATOICHI and many more.

In the beginning of his career, in the early fifties, Jack Arnold, directed four of the most memorable horror movies ever. IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE, CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, TARANTULA and THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN. He has always been a huge influence for me.

Westerns are a big influence for LUCHA LIBRE, especially for series like TEQUILA. I've already told you how much I love Sam Peckinpah's movies. Probably because he made everyone of them like it was the last one. This is the ending of THE WILD BUNCH. There is no hope and everybody is ready to die. I know it's almost nine minutes but watch it till the end, you won't regret it, I promise. And a few faces from the movie...

When is the last time we have seen a casting like this: Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and the unbelievable Eli Wallach. Directed by Sergio Leone in 1966, THE GOOD THE AND AND THE UGLY is a masterpiece. This is my favorite scene, the showdown. If somebody would try to do a scene like that today, all the studio executives would scream bloody murder. "6 minutes with no action? Are you crazy?" I guess Sergio Leone was crazy, thats why he's immortal!
