While cleaning my garage this afternoon, I found a box with all my 45 rpm. Yeah, I'm that old. Unfortunately since I don't have a turntable anymore, I can't listen to them but I can still admire the great cover art. These are from CRASS. Some of you maybe remember them, a British anarchist punk rock band. If not, you have a page about CRASS here.

I'm still trying to figure out the connection...Lucha Libre? Condoms? But let's put it on our blog anyway! Designed by American underground cartoonist PETER KUPER and sold on CONDOMANIA. While you're at it, you may also want to check out the Ron English and Peter Bagge varieties. :-)

I'm not as fond of Mega Man as most videogame enthusiasts...but, damn it, MEGA MAN 2 is artistic 8-bit perfection! Great music, vivid colors, and one of the best rogue's gallery of any videogame in existence. Also, this game was the first to include a blinking protaganist. It's amazing how much "life" blinking eyes can give to a pixelated character! Here's a glimpse at the easy but very beautiful Air Man stage.

A weird bit of coincidence today. We just posted a nice fan art piece by Codel on our FAN ART BLOG (see below). I was also casually looking at the KIDROBOT FORUM when I stumbled across a nicely designed art toy called COMBO. And...what do you know...it was designed by the same guy! Upon further research, it looks like Codel and his buddy Higone won the first VINYL COLLECTIBLES COMPETITION. The top three winners of the competition get to have their toy designs produced and a small financial reward. You can purchase Combo HERE. I'm all for seeing new talent and ideas in this growing Designer Toy world. Congrats to Codel!

This is an except of SANTO CONTRA BLUE DEMON EN LA ATLÂNTIDA, directed in 1970 by Julián Soler. Obviously Santo doesn't like the way Blue Demon drives the car and the director doesn't really care about the shadow of the camera. Anyway, this is amazingly beautiful.

This nice guy is Dick –THE DESTROYER– Beyer. Yes it's his real nose. He's a wrestler but he's also a singer... On this page, you can buy his CD.
