Lucha Libre Masks
I just received a few nice Lucha Libre Mask I purchased online.
A few years ago, I had a gorgeous Blue DOS CARAS mask... but Gobi fell in love with it during his first visit to Los Angeles and (being the swell guy that I am) I gave it to Gobi. Upon seeing the mask, Gobi's eyes just lit up... and when I'd catch him ravenously putting on the damned thing in the mirror every time I left him alone for a second I had to give it to the crazy feller. Plus he has major issues with drooling and allergies... and seeing the inhuman amounts of snot and slobber Gobi would leave on the mask, I concluded that I could either concede and give the mask to Gobi or throw the thing away. Gobi's excrements are toxic... sort of like that alien from that movie (why do I always forget the name of that damned movie!?)...
Anyways, Bills coming into town in July so I figured I should prepare for his visit. This time I have 3 masks. I'm hoping that I'll be left with at least one of them by the time Bill leaves. But before Bill even arrives I want to make sure I choose my favorite and mark my territory with a ritualistic jock itch rub down... there's no way I can get jock itch on my face, right?
So, what mask makes me look SEXAY? Sexay like bull. No sexay like kitten.

Those are nice masks, if bit on the medium-quality side regarding the craftmaship. Here in Mexico (where I'm from) masks like those can be found in many stores. However, if you want a really professional looking one, like the one real luchadores wear, you must go to Mexico City or Guadalajara or order them online from Deportez Martinez (website: http://www.mtzwear.com/).

Suffy:
Some Lucha Libre 101: the gold mask is Mil Mascaras (literal translation is 1000 masks). Mil is a legend. He's probably the 3rd most famous wrestler (next to Santo and Blue Demon) largely due to the many films he's been in.
The blue one is The Shocker. He's of the newer generation of Luchadores.
Thanks for the feedback. The blue one's nice because it's a lot easier to talk with... but I'm really falling in love with that 'M' idea... I may have to use both!

My great respect for Mil Mascaras disallowed my heart and mind associating the 'M' on the mask to 'Muttpop'. That's like having the Christian/Catholic Cross being used as a symbol for 'Titties'... but now that you've brought it up, I kind of like the association (and I'll never look at the Cross in the same way again!).

Tough decision, it's between the Blue and Yellow/Gold Masks.
(Not knowing much about the traditional Lucha Libre so un-able to name them properly)
I vote for the Blue mask, looks cooler and more stylish, which I suppose is more suitable for the Muttpop man.

I think I'll use the second mask as my talking mask. As the 'voice' of Muttpop I like to insult others, and then I use my ninja skills to hide behind Jerry. I've lost a few pounds and have now mastered the art of positioning myself so perfectly behind Jerry that I become invisible. Only problem is Jerry regularly complains that this "MPB Escondido" tactic makes his bottom feel funny.
Jock Itch is the cauliflower ear of the Lucha Libre World. It can get uncomfortable... but with the right mix of sweat and dirt you can really harvest the bacteria to create deadly odors that work wonders in the ring.
Gobi:
Thanks! You have traumatized me. Since you left with that beautiful Dos Caras mask, EVERY Dos Caras mask I see looks like a Mini Gobi! So I assume you've retired your Dos Caras mask to become the living embodiment of Bigfoot? We need to have you move out to Los Angeles! We'll feed you tons of McDonalds to build that thin frame of yours into a hulking beast! French food lacks the vital nutrients us Americans find in hormones, genetically modified foods, and corn starch (all those hazardous claims are grossly exaggerated...).

I'm going to go with the second mask...you can be more ferocious with your mouth showing. ...Although that big red "M" on the third mask looks pretty good too! Good luck with the Jock Itch! Keep that stuff away from your toes and vice versa!
