King Katch Exposed!
To make up for my lack of posts this week, I think it'd be fair to show you more of what most people visiting this site are interested in: the King Katch sculpt! I've been shying away from a full view, but I think it's due time I give you a head on look at the King of Wrestling. We worked very closely with Monster5 on King Katch's teeth. Earlier sculpt versions of Katch had some mighty sharp canines. We felt that the sharper teeth distracted from the overall shape and look of the figure. The final version is a nice balance of menace and approachability. King Katch will be released sometime in 2010.

I've been waiting for 3 years now I think it is, ever since I saw the old sculpt.

King Katch and Akuma is a tough one! I'd say King Katch is stronger in a fist to fist match BUT Akuma's got those crazy fireballs and more fighting skills... so % goes to Akuma. But without powers, I'd give a slight edge to King Katch!

I'm very excited for the King. We have some other Tequilas coming up very soon. I'll have more news on that later... plenty of sneak peaks on upcoming Tequilas at San Diego Comic-con.

Great question. We're going to fight hard with the engineering department to make it all in rotocast vinyl. Injection would work too... but I really like having all the big pieces of the figure in that nice hollow rotocast vinyl.
Satan's Dookie:
We're focusing on the Tcho's, Molly, and Tequila colorways for 2009. We want to release the Mini Kozik too! But we're gonna wait until 2010 to start ramping up the many upcoming productions.
Jake Capps:
We put a lot of our time and energy into the Tcho mini figures (which is 6 separate sculpts/figures) and Molly pieces. Sadly, that meant we had to slow things down a little bit with the Lucha Libre stuff (other than the Tequila 2.0 piece). Since Tequila's earlier release was at another factory, we had to do Tequila 2.0 from scratch... but we wanted to keep the line alive with the guy that started it all.
We still haven't quite mastered the balance between pushing forward on the stuff that we started with (Lucha Libre) and everything else... but we're working hard on continuing to build it all with you guys.
SDCC will see some special Tcho! releases. Ohm, the artist behind Tcho!, will be at several signings on Friday and Saturday at San Diego. More on all of that very, very soon.
