Basil Rules! Basil WOLVERTON (1909-1978) drew horror, sci fi, humor stories, and also very bizarre caricatures. This site offers a view on his unbelievable career. He learned cartooning by himself, so his style wasn’t formated by artschools. He was the father of the "Spaghetti and Meatballs" design. During the 50s, as a member of the WorldwideChurch of God, he illustrated the Book of Revelation with sixteen frightening illustrations depicting the end of our world. All these illlustrations can be seen here, colored by his son Monte Wolverton.
