Square Jaws & Screaming Beauties
Praise Norman Saunders (1907-1989), the God of pulp art! His style was very dynamic, full of action. He also painted covers for paperbacks and he did many comics covers (mostly in western and adventure genres). His covers for Men’s Magazines are intensely sought after by vintage magazines lovers. In 1962, he realized the MARS ATTACKS trading cards for the Topps Bubble Gum company. This on line gallery offers a complete view of his art.
