Another fascinating visual database. It’s a huge Golden-Age comic cover gallery. The Classic Crime & Horror Comics covers of the 40s and the 50s are the most interesting. They were violent, gory and lurid. It was before the adoption of the censorship of the Comics Code of America, who killed the horror comics market.
