Much controversy has arisen around CRAIG THOMPSON. His original graphic novel, BLANKETS, was received in most parts of the world with wide critical acclaim and rave reviews. But many French comic enthusiasts feel his work is a pale imitation of BLUTCH's cartooning. Say what they will, I adore Thompson's work. His lines are consistently beautiful and lyrical and I can't wait for his latest project, HABIBI to be published.
