Iron Man Mach 1 Armor
As is usual with Comicon, most of my pop culture discoveries happened at home visiting websites upon returning from the Con. There's so much to take in at the Convention that it's impossible to discover all the new developments while you are there. My favorite discovery is the design for the "Mach 1" version of the Iron Man armor from the upcoming feature film. It's the first version of Iron Man's armor (one of many that will be revealed in the film) inspired by the original Jack Kirby design. Call me crazy, but this blows away all the designs for the Transformers movie. So far IRON MAN has a great cast and some wonderful design choices. Hopefully they will result in a decent superhero flick.

"Call me crazy, but this blows away all the designs for the Transformers movie."You are right Bob, this steampunk-like armor is excellent! I'm not a great Iron Man fan, but this film with this design is very interesting for me.

I am heartily in favour of this design of Iron Man's original armour. I like it a lot. And I think that was Adi Grunov's design feel they were going for when I watched the trailer footage from Comic Con. I am really looking forward to this movie now.

By Adi Grunov's design, I mean that suit of armour that show up at the end of the trailer once Stark has escaped. This armour here isn't Adi's design, I don't think. Sorry for being unclear.

TIKOS PETER:Great minds think alike!AFROTEAM:Comicon was...okay. The first 2-3 times you go, it's AMAZING. By the 5th your mildly entertained. 7th time, you want to go after 30 minutes. The spectacle is bigger than ever. You can feel that all the big businesses in entertainment feel the "power" of comicon. But that's taken a little away from the charm.I saw Transformers. I liked it a lot more than I expected...but it still had that contrived feeling of a Hollywood film. It's a 7.5/10 film for me. It's worth watching, but I have no desire to see it again.DUNCAN:Adi Granov was hired as a consultant to design the movie armor...good eye! I love both armors. I'm curious to see if there are any others in the film. -Muttpop Bob
