Bill In Town Tomorrow...

In preparation for San Diego Comicon, Bill's arriving in Los Angeles tomorrow and will be joining Jerry and me on our Muttpop Adventures for the next 2 weeks. This time around we have plenty in store for Bill to experience! I'm getting married in a little over 2 weeks... so Bill's lucky enough to join me and my old buddies for my Bachelor Party Weekend in Las Vegas. It'll be Jerry and Bill's first time in the City of Sin and we'll be sure to chronicle the debauchery right here on the Blog. Give us your good luck for the Black Jack tables and the ladies...

(here's a "wholesome" Jerry and Bill picture from Bill's previous visit)

E3 is going on these days... and thus far the videogame news that's been released has been pretty ho hum for me.

Aesthetically and stylistically there is very little to feel enticed by. The only two things that I feel are worthy of sharing with you are the latest trailers for Street Fighter IV and Madworld.

Visually and design-wise, I consider SFIV to be a failure. Everyone looks like the were born from the uterus of Chyna (with their cro-magnon facial features and bulky physiques). And the new characters bring little to the wonderful Street Fighter cast. But I'm digging the way the gameplay looks and the up close and personal camera choices. I also like the speed and size of the Lucha Libre character.  It'll be nice to check out, but I don't expect a classic.

Madworld looks insane. Stylistically, it's the most exciting game that's been revealed. Juicy violence with a vulgar sense of humor... all packaged with a Sin City graphical vibe. There's still not enough to decide if it's going to be a good game. But the style is already guaranteed to more than make up for it!

Incredible Edition

We're still a ways away from production... but here's a glimpse at what we slipped into Lucha Libre #5.

Here's a bigger glimpse at the tease we did with VinylPulse.

I have the prototypes in my grubby hands as I type this and, damn this lil' guys are sexy! I'm really happy with how they turned out. I'm super proud we how these guys are turning out. If you go to San Diego Comicon, I DEMAND you check these protos out at the DKE Toys booth and tell us what you think.

All Red Demons Sold Out!

We just got word that all versions of Red Demon have been sold out by our Distributor. That means whatever Red Demons are out there are the last ones left for sale. Red Demon's earned his place next to Tequila in the Muttpop Hall of Fame. It was good to know you, buddy!

Molly Round 4

Aaaah. Now we're getting somewhere! At this stage, you can feel life being brought back to the sculpt. The arms and neck are lengthened to emphasize her mixture of femininity and youth. The pose has been softened. Her butt and hips are given more shape and volume. Molly's finally beginning to look like a beautiful living and breathing young woman! Now we have to really work on that hair...
