Space: 1999
Another wonder from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson was SPACE: 1999. The underlying story line of SPACE: 1999 centered on the plight of the inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha following a calamity on September 13, 1999 (hence the title). A huge nuclear waste dump on the far side of the Moon detonates in a massive thermonuclear explosion initiated by the build up of magnetic radiation which was released causing a chain reaction. The force of the explosion causes the Moon to be sent hurtling out of Earth's orbit and into deep space at colossal speed, stranding the 311 crewmembers, in effect becoming the "spaceship" on which our heroes travel, looking for a new home. During their interstellar journey, the Alphans encounter a vast array of alien civilizations, dystopian societies, and strange phenomena, previously unseen by man. (source: wikipedia).

UFO
If you've never seen UFO, you should. It was a very cool British science-fiction TV series created, written and produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (THE THUNDERBIRDS, SPACE: 1999) between 1970 and 1973. It's 26 episodes of unbelievable haircuts, amazing cars, designed weapons, crazy interiors, weird clothes, beautiful spaceships and an fairly good story. I found a great website about it where you can see some clips, hear some sound effects, etc. After checking it out, I guarantee you'll ask your girlfriend to wear a purple wig!

Louis
Yesterday, I was telling you about the fight between Tequila and Louis. Thanks to Jude, here's the picture of Louis, the monster who was defeated by Tequila... Well, at least, that's my understanding of the story.

Muttpop Luchadores On Lupe's "I Got Cha"
We've gotten a little love from rapper Lupe Fiasco. He's showing his love for the Vinyl Toy scene in his newest video for the Neptune's produced "I Got Cha" single. It's a fun little song and there's a little scene where Lupe Fiasco is rhyming in front of his Vinyl Toy collections, amongst the toys are a Tequila Original, El Panda Original, and El Panda Classico. Can you find them? :-)Check out the video here: LUPE FIASCO "I Got Cha" Video
