Since I was talking about Russ Meyer, here's the intro of FASTER PUSSYCAT KILL KILL. According to John Waters it's the best film ever. It features the incredible Tura Satana, "the utlimate femme fatale"!

Yesterday night I've watched Russ Meyer's BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS on IFC. I've already seen it in the past but I didn't remember it was so good. The look of the movie is fantastic, the music is beyond belief and the actresses have unbelievable... haircuts! I was surprised by the script who was almost moral which is weird for a Russ Meyer movie. Anyway, check it out, it's worth it.

Three of my friends are nominated for the Angouleme awards. Michel Pirus for CANETOR (script by the late Charlie Schlingo) and Stephane Oiry & Jean-Luc Cornette for LES PASSE-MURAILLES #2. Both books are really good.
