Jamungo X Muttpop Series 3 BUD
Wondering what the Muttpop Series 3 BUD looks like? Jamungo is asking that we keep things super secret... but with some finagling, I got Jamungo to loosen their grip and allow us to slip out this teaser. I know, it's not the most explicit teaser. But if you know the cast of lively characters that Muttpop's produced as figures you should have a pretty good idea of what it's all referring to. This BUD will look might nice next to the Tequila BUD! By the way, any of you going to the Designer Con, this Saturday in Pasadena? Muttpop will be there. We may even have a few Muttpop Series 3 BUD on hand for those interested. We'll be right up front in Booth #45!

Fan Made Dr Destruction Animation
We'd like to give much love and respect to Nuno Santos for the amazing Dr. Destruction computer polygon animation he did. The polygon rendered figure does a wonderful job of capturing the Doctor's proud attitude and flair. Muttpop Nico first discovered the video this past weekend and immediately shared it with the rest of the Muttpop team. Great work Nuno! Thanks for the love.

Tequila Custom Halloween Costume
With Halloween less than a week away, it's a good time to start thinking about what you're going to wear on a holiday known for its candies, costumes, and haunts. If you're Muttpop Bob, you pull out your musty old Mil Mascaras mask and wear it proudly. If you are David 'NOPAL' Gonzalez, you use a bit more pride in your costuming efforts by creating a menacing TEQUILA costume! In and of itself, a well crafted Tequila mask (complete with motorhead mustache) would make any Muttpop and/or Lucha Libre enthusiast proud. But NOPAL went the full distance on his creative crusade by constructing an amazing Tequila sarape down to its cactus designed details. If NOPAL does not get laid this Saturday for his sexy costume, either the world is not just or there wasn't enough tequila in the party's bowl of jungle juice fruit punch!

New Bill Art And Blog
Bill's decided to make his presence known via his own art blog. What does that mean to us? More beautiful illustrations from Bill! You'd best know Bill as the artist who designed Red Demon and Dr. Destruction. He's also the artist behind our Lucha Libre Luchadores 5 series and Tcho!'s Zblucops comic book series. Bill's been hard at work on the latest chapter of the Luchadores 5. In the latest story, the Luchadores 5 are fighting a group of superheroes known as the Four Elements. The team is composed of Fire, Water, Air and Super Dave. Super Dave lost his leg in a fight with Tequila. He has since replaced his leg with some spare motorcycle parts (don't ask!). Two of Bill's pencilled pages can be seen below.
The US version of our Lucha Libre series has not been forgotten. More English language versions of the comics will be available in 2010. Stay tuned for more information... and while you're waiting, be sure to check out Bill's new art blog (CLICK HERE).
