This is the cover of Santo Swings, a CD EP from SOUTHERN CULTURE ON THE SKIDS on ESTRUS RECORDS. The music is pretty good and the package is amazing. Inside, there are some cutout monster figures. I found some scans here.

Another band who could have come directly from the pages of LUCHA LIBRE, is THE MUMMIES. For more information, you can check their website or take a look at some of their fantastic shows available on youtube. It was probably the best band in the world. I mean... It was for sure the best band in the world.

During the nineties, there were that crazy surf band called THE BOMBORAS. It was not only one of the best surf band in history, they were also a unbelievable live band. People who had the opportunity to see them are still crying of happiness. I think their best album is their last one, HEAD SHRINKIN' FUN, released on ZOMBIE A GO-GO, the former label of Rob Zombie with a beautiful cover by Shag. Their music and their look is a big source of inspiration.

Here they are. In 1978. This is a masterpiece.
