Yes, we know, Gobi is sick.

I occasionally check out Washington Wizard Basketball All-Star Gilbert Arenas' blog. Basketball is the only sport I religiously play and follow (I can't jump worth a damn...but my shot is unstoppable!). It's really cool to see a casual perspective on the game of NBA basketball from a professional athlete.Gilbert Arenas is actually from my home town. In high school, me and my good friends Ray Diamond and Josh Peltz would occasionally play blacktop ball out on the courts of Louise Park. We'd often find a lanky 13 year old Gilbert Arenas there. Gilbert was 3 years younger than us and, quite frankly, no better than any of the other people that played there. Obviously, he worked his ass off since then and is now one of the top 25 active basketball players in the world.Anyways, the main reason for this post is Gilbert mentions the "Best Interview of the Century" with Stephon Marbury. Stephon is a former All-Star that currently plays on the New York Knicks. I have no clue what Marbury was smoking prior to this interview...but that stuff sure seems potent!

A while ago, I mentioned my affection for Andi Watson's comic work. He just came out with a gorgeous little comic called GLISTER. It's an adorable introduction to a slightly dark world of a girl named Glister Butterworth. I love the new style he came up with for the project. It's both a bit more realistic and cartoony than his previous stuff.

This footage is a bit old (from March 2007 at the GDC conference)...but I have yet to share it with the blog. It's from an upcoming game called "Little Big Planet" on the Playstation3. For some time now, I've been avoiding purchasing a "next generation" game system. I bought a Wii, but I feel that can be played just fine on my standard television. But if I were to buy an Xbox 360 or PS3, I'd have to buy a high def TV AND a new sound system to play the games the way they were intended to be played.Seeing this teaser video for "Little Big Planet" SCARES ME because when this game comes out (the release date has yet to be determined) it's going to be real hard for me to stay cheap!

Great video for a great band, FALSE ALARM by THE BRONX. I heard about that band a while ago. Some people were talking about them because they were doing their press release in Morse code. I though that was an amazing idea. . -. .--- --- -.--!
