Let me show you the funny and colorful World of Wassco. Chip Wass is an american graphic designer and illustrator mainly working for magazines (Premiere, Rolling Stones…) and Hanna Barbara cartoons. He defines himself as a purveyor of "stupefied Neanderthals, artistically inclined sea captains driving jalopies, and near-sighted, super-intelligent monkeys who cannot express themselves"…

In an upcoming issue of LUCHA LIBRE, Stephane Oiry will do a short story with Dr. Destruction and his Formidables. The story will tell how Dr. Destruction got rid of the fifth member of his gang, Roger, the one who didn't like the singer Michel Sardou. Here's his first take on the characters. Roger is on the right.

Originally released in 1995 as the official sequel to the monumental Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island didn't receive the financial success Nintendo had hoped for despite consistent critical acclaim. This doesn't change the fact that Yoshi's Island is one of the best games ever made by videogame legend Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo.In the game you play as Yoshi, a very hungry dinosaur that can use his long sticky tongue to eat enemies and poop them out as eggs. Beyond jumping and eating things, you can throw your collected egg-poop to hit difficult to reach objects. Prepare to be challenged by seed spitting monkeys, fuzzy ghosts that get Yoshi "high", and a big boss enemy that you must destroy by forcing his pants to drop.With it's color pencil inspired visual design, Yoshi's Island looks beautiful in a manner that fits it's childish concept (you're supposed to help baby Mario find his kidnapped twin brother). The style allows for a quirky aesthetic with bolder designs than are usually found in a Nintendo game.If you still have your old Super Nintendo, I recommend you find a used copy. The game is also readily available on the Game Boy Advance as "Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3". Enjoy!
