Newest Spirit Trailer; Starting To Look Good
The latest Spirit Posters and Trailer's have been revealled... and things are starting to shape up really nicely. The whole marketing campaign I've been following has been all kinds of crazy. At first it looked like Sin City 2. Then it was some live action Tom & Jerry cartoon. Now it's looking like a Sin City James Bond hybrid with some wacky slapstick. That I can go for.
The use of color is pretty nice. It looks to build off of what Sky Captain did... hopefully it will succeed in ways that Sky Captain failed.
As a longtime fan, I'm still rooting for Frank Miller!

Swagger Like Us
My current favorite song: "Swagger Like Us" by T.I. featuring Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Lil' Wayne. Production is by Kanye West using a brilliant sample from M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes". Everybody is bringing they're A-game. Ironically, although T.I. is solid, his style is distinctly different from Jay, Ye, and Wayne's sing-song delivery. T.I.'s more 2pac or Nas with a tighter rhythmic delivery and solid introspective lyrics. The rest just bring it with tons of melodic attitude and word play. Hearing this makes me feel like the trio of Jay-Z, Kanye, and Lil' Wayne would be the penultimate hip-hip group. They complement each other perfectly.
Ignore the fake video... it's all about the music.

NOOOOOOOO!!!
I am sad to hear that the Blue Panther was unmasked by Villano V on 75th Anniversary CMLL. Being unmasked is the ultimate form of humiliation in Lucha Libre. Once you're unmasked you can never wear your mask again. Villano V!? Come on, Blue Panther! For shame!

Diesel: SFX XXX
What a brilliant way to promote the Diesel XXX Party! I think they should have gone a bit more subtle at times... but overall it's hilarious.
YouTube may take it down soon...so if you can't watch the video below check it out at it's original location by CLICKING HERE.

Wario YouTube Chaos
You HAVE to check out this YouTube video. Unfortunately, I can't embed the video based on the way it was made. But I guarantee it's worth your time! Link for the video can be found after the jump.
It looks like this is the week for old school gaming. First we have the release of the 8bit Mega Man 9. Now Nintendo is releasing the beautiful Wario Land Shake It for the Nintendo Wii. Nice.
The new Wario game doesn't look like it's bringing any new gameplay elements to the world of 2D gaming. The more novel elements are taken from the legendary SMW2: Yoshi's Island. But I'm still very much planning to pick this game up as it has some of the be prettiest 2D graphics I have seen in a long time. 2D graphics are as much about style as they are about polish... and this game has both in spades! Adding fuel to the fire, Nintendo hired Production IG (animation company behind Ghost In The Shell) to do the animated introduction.

Crazy Alan Moore...
If his writing wasn't so brilliant, you'd think Alan Moore was a loon. While most men's midlife crises equate to wanting a hot young dame and a sportscar... Alan Moore quit comics for a few years to explore and practice Magick by means of worshiping a snake sock puppet.
These days, he's shunned Hollywood pursuits at adapting his comics to film... so much so that he gives all the money he makes on them to his artistic collaborator. Now he's claiming that the current legal disputes over the Watchmen film may be the result over the Curse he place on the film.
You gotta love the man!
