I had to fight for this one! We already had the El Panda Dragon figure and we need a complementary Red Demon ‘pop culture’ edition. I suggested to the folks at Wizard that we should do a Miami Vice Sunny Crocket inspired Red Demon with the white suit and shoes, pink shirt, and pastel blue tie. They loved it. Jerry, on the other hand, didn’t.
As I mentioned before, Jerry’s a bit of a “Man’s man”. He’s not particularly fond of anything “girly”. So Jerry hated my suggestion…but being the man that he was, he let us do our thing (even adding a bit of an off-white color to the coat). And when the prototypes came back…Jerry finally conceded that the Vice Edition is one cool looking figure. Bill thought it was pretty cool too.
