As you've probably figured out by now, I get a real kick out of these 'Pop Culture' editions. For the Wild Edition, I suggested we do something that's playing off of the look of Batman's arch-nemesis the Joker. I wanted to do something a bit darker...like what Brian Bolland did in "The Killing Joke" but Jerry, rightly, suggested that we stay true to the brighter, more iconic colors of the Joker. Unfortunately, after many tests...we couldn't capture the perfect likeness. We share our frustration with Bill, and the man came back at us with the PERFECT version. I LOVE the little touches Bill came up with like the red smiley face on the cane.
